His undercoat is a dark ginger, like copper. His muzzle is black, and there is also a black "cloak" that drapes over his back. His tail is fluffier than the rest of his body. Alpha's eyes a dark stormy gray. Not only that, but he is an extremely small cat.

Personality:

Alpha is very adventurous and stubborn, causing him to be somewhat mischievous as well. He hates being penned up in one place, and will try to think of ways to escape. He hates being looked down on because he's so small, and is ambitious because of it. He is a rebel, and obedience doesn't come easily to him. However, he will die to protect his friends, and--most of the time--is not afraid to lead. Alpha has an uncanny sense of hearing and smelling, and often uses it to his advantage. Sometimes, he does things without thinking, and it just causes trouble.

History:

Alpha had not always been a kittypet--he'd been a lab experiment named A21-9. Twolegs had been trying to create a cat-dog hybrid for military purposes, so that cats could also be used as trackers. After all, felines were smaller and could poke into tight spaces. He was one of the dozen who were experimented on, thus receiving the appearance of a German Shepherd and heightened tracking abilities. Unfortunately, it also stunted his growth, making him a runt.

Many of the other "guinea pigs" died in the process, and after awhile the Twolegs gave up. A21-9 and the other hybrids were given to pet shops. It didn't take long for him to be bought and brought to the Twoleg nest where he lived today. They renamed him 'Alpha' since his pelt looked like that of a dog.
