Crowstar padded past the MistClan border and hid in a tree. She promised she would meet Shatterstar in the large hollow oak near the border. She scented the air and waited, trying to ignore the sharp pain she had in her belly scince thenaming ceremony.

Shatterstar
A large black and white feline slid from his den in the treetops and padded through the cave that held MistClan's camp. As he neared the exit, he gave the current guard an acknowledging nod, and continued on out of the cave and into the darkness. Shatterstar slid through the undergrowth in the foggy pine forest, dark green eyes determined. Soon enough, the scent of DriftClan hit his nose, and unlike most MistClan cats, he loved the scent. He paused and tested the air, and when he was sure they were the only ones there, he ducked into the hollow oak, where he found the black form of Crowstar. "Greetings Crowstar, I suspect you and your clan can been well?" he meowed in greeting. A small grin tugged at his face as he sat in front of his only true love.

The black cat nodded. Her red eyes glowed in the darkness of the hollow. She grinned slightly, trying as hard as she could not to flinch. "Dreamsong is our new Deputy, and Dreamracer is Medicine Cat..." she mewed. She didnt even mention the fact that Wolfkit found her, in fear that Shatterstar would abandon her for taking back a kit from her litter when she was a warrior. She finally flinched from the pain, and she hoped Shatterstar didnt notice.

Shatterstar nodded approvingly. "Two strong cats. From what I know of them, you made a good choice." he replied, trying to forget the fact that he still didn't have a deputy or medicine cat. He hadn't found the right cats yet. Suddenly, he noticed Crowstar flinch. Why is she flinching? Maybe she shifted her position a bit and stepped on a thorn or sharp twig... he thought, but didn't actually believe it himself. He decided not to say anything about it yet though, as he didn't want to make a fuss over nothing.

Crowstar nodded. "I found out that Nightpelt was the one that killed Dreamsong's family, and hes back to kill her. We have a plan to chase him out of the camp." she meowed. She flinched again, and now she knew that Shatterstar had saw her. She laid down in the hollow, hoping the pain would go away if she shifted position.

The large tom shifted slightly. Ambitious cats are dangerous to mess with...she could get hurt! he thought with a silent sigh. He didn't say so though, he knew better to argue with Crowstar. It never got you anywhere. So, he simply said "I hope it works the way you want it to." and left it at that. As she flinched again and lay down, he kneaded the ground worriedly, wondering what was up with Crowstar.

Crowstar nodded. "I told Dreamsong I would stay in the nursery." she mewed, as if she were answering Shatterstar's thoughts. She perked her ears up, about to change the subject. "Anyways, Im due to have kits soon!" she mewed, almost excitedly.

Shatterstar nodded, relieved that his mate would be in the nursery out of danger. As she continued, he froze. "Kits?" he said calmly. He knew very well that he would be their father, but he could probably never tell them. Forbidden love is dangerous...and one of the worst things is when kits come out of it, and they don't know who both their parents are... he thought. But it wouldn't stop him from loving Crowstar.

Crowstar nodded. "I bet one of them will look like you." she mewed, and nudged Shatterstar. A sharp pain stabbed at her stomach like a thorn. She tried a hard as she could to ignore it, but couldnt. 'I have to go back to my den, but I dont want to... so im not moving.' she thought.

Shatterstar grinned. Maybe it won't be so bad, having kits... he thought. He noticed Crowstar seemed to be getting really uncomfortable, and he was getting a bit worried. "Crowstar...are you okay?" he asked, green eyes concerned. |

Shatterstar nodded, but wasn't so sure. "Okay...if you're sure..." he replied, noting that she was having kits. The kits are probably just a bit restless... he told himself. He purred softly as Crowstar rubbed herself against him, and he gave her a quick lick between her ears. |

Crowstar relaxed alot when Shatterstar licked her head. All of her pain suddenly faded and she was calm as ever. She sniffed the air and smelled something other then them. She looked around and saw four kits stumbling around behind her. She blinked and gathered them up, setting them in front of her and Shatterstar.

((Well that was a bit awkward, four kits appear out of NO WHERE! xD))
Shatterstar was surprised as Crowstar placed four kits in front of them. They smelled strongly of Crowstar, and Shatterstar just stared at them. "Are they-?" he didn't finish the question. He knew the answer. With two black ones with green eyes, a black and white one with blue eyes, and a white one with blue eyes, he was sure. They were Crowstar's kits. His and Crowstar's kits. Forbidden kits... he told himself, but put on a slight grin. This had been their dream, even if it was forbidden. And no one had to know. |

Crowstar smiled and rubbed up against Shatterstar. She grabbed one of the kits and placed it in front if Shatterstar. "Keep one in your clan. When she is old enough, tell her who her mother is. It would be best if one of them knew." she mewed. "Just say you found her in here. Ill say i found these three by Pearl pond..." she added, making the excuses for both of them. "Nobody needs to know..." she whispered, rubbing up against Shatterstar.
