Riverkit pinned her ears back and backed up a little, obviously scared. She could feel herself shaking with fear at that very moment. That one moment, when she could almost feel the anger pulsing from Dreampaw's pelt. She retreated quickly and darted away, hiding behind the large fresh kill pile.

Alpha
Hearing Dreampaw's attempt to start a conversation, he nodded and opened his mouth to reply, but the kit beat him to it. The small tom glanced between the two, and saw the snowshoe glaring at the smaller she-cat, seeming rather hostile. Are all the cats like this? he wondered, growing perplexed at the obvious tension between the two.
"Stop being an annoying kit and go back in the nursery! Does your mother even know you're out here?!!"
The outburst startled him somewhat, and he stared at the snowshoe in surprise. "Um...okay?" he mewed, feeling a bit self-conscious. What was he supposed to say? Alpha edged away slightly from the tiny cluster of cats that had crowded around.
Crimsonpaw
Crimsonpaw gaped at Dreampaw, incredulous. Anger glittered in his amber eyes as he watched the kit dash away, fur bristling with fear. He hadn't seen what was wrong between the two that gave the other apprentice the right to yell at his sister. "What was that for? What's wrong with being happy?" the russet cat demanded, his voice bordering a snarl. With that he hurried away after Riverkit, seeing that she'd hidden herself behind the fresh-kill pile. "Don't listen to Dreampaw. She doesn't know what she's talking about," he said, coaxing her to come back.

Riverkit nodded slightly, still shaking with fear. She stalked out slowly. She could almost smell the fear pulsing from her own pelt.

Dreampaw
Dreampaw snorted as she heard scuffling of paws running away. Then she felt eyes scorching into her pelt. Of course, she was going to get yelled at. "She was annoying me!" she snapped at Crimsonpaw. The snowshoe sighed as Alpha moved away from her. The anger scent faded and was replaced with cold-ness. She picked up her paws and walked away, isolated from the rest of the cats. Dreampaw looked up at Foreststar and yowled, "Come on! Start!" She was being to pushy. "Ugh," she snorted, placing her black tail across her paws.
Foreststar
Foreststar had been watching the whole thing between Dreampaw and Riverkit. The kit obviously rubbed the snowshoe's fur the wrong way. With what could she do that with? she wondered silently. 'Come on! Start!' she heard from the irratated apprentice. The brown tabby curled her tail with amusement. Who was she to tell her own leader what to do? "Gather around you rambunctious CrystalClanners!" she said, joking. "I will begin the meeting in one minute, exact. Be patient and don't let others rub your fur the wrong way," she announced. At the last sentence, her green eyes rested on Dreampaw. She would learn.

((Sorry for double post))
Foreststar
Foreststar gazed around the clearing. Enough cats had gathered. "Cats of CrystalClan - I called you here today to announce the arrival of a new clan member. An outsider." She listened for yowls of objection. A few rose, but she continued speaking. "He will make a great warrior. Alpha, please come forward," she meowed to the small cat.

Alpha
He straightened up as the brown tabby she-cat spoke again, holding his chin high as he raked his stormy gray gaze across the assembled cats, as though daring one of them to ask why. The few cries of shock and objection rang out, though it didn't come as a surprise. It had been clear they didn't welcome intruders into their forest home--which he had already taken an instant liking to--when Alpha had run into Dreampaw and Snowdove. But no questions came, and so far there were no taunts about his being so small. Size doesn't matter, he thought to himself determinedly. And if they think it does then, oh ho! they should prepare to be proven wrong. Hearing his name, the copper tom pricked his ears and stood up. Padding forward, he gazed up at Foreststar, suddenly feeling nervous as to what he was supposed to do now.
Crimsonpaw
The russet apprentice shot an annoyed glare at Dreampaw as Riverkit finally emerged from her hiding place. Normally he was a lot more friendly and cheerful, but his denmate had no reason to have snapped at his sister. He was also secretly rather jealous at how the newcomer had all the attention right now. Guiding the kit back toward the group, Crimsonpaw glanced toward Alpha as Foreststar asked him to step forward.
